Some users may have trouble bringing up the console. This will pause the game and display the console cursor, and any recent commands that may have been run. To access the console, press the tilde key, '~' (usually, next to the 1 key). As such, the console allows the player to directly manipulate the game world in ways not normally intended.
The PC version of the game gives players access to the debugging console, which is typically used by employees when play testing the game.
